Source Text: Ran across a little document in family papers which
added a new crop of names to my Jane Ann Mook. It
was a program for "Private Theatricals" dated 1879.
The following names were listed. Are they familiar to
anyone?
Charles O. Mook
Willie Mook
Henry Mook
Walter F. Mook
William Mook
Mrs. Henry Mook
Mamie Mook
also (possible relations, maybe just
friends of the family)
Robert Chapman
M. Burnton
I. Bounton
John Dupuy
Mrs. Joseph C. Smith
Also, we seem to have a name for the Hood Jane Ann
married; i.e. James B. Hood. It is also possible Jane
Ann had another daughter, Angeline who m. Frederick
Riesdorph.
Jane Ann b.9/3/1828 probably had brothers:
James
John b.12/14/1831-d.2/2/1918-m. Leonore?
William
We ran across a possible father for Jane Ann until we
realized he had died 4 years before she was born.
Figured it couldn't have been him unless they had
cryogenics and sperm banks in the early 1800's. All of
these Mooks were New York City born and bred. Any
help out there? Any connections?
